This is an indicative list of what trees maybe in flower or bearing fruits throughout the year. It is not an exhaustive list, but an informative listing to encourage readers to explore further, and I suggest the Collins Book of British trees as a starting place.
The winter arrives, with cold and wet as normal. The fruits that are left can be found in the January listings, very little for humans, but much for birds and animals.
The severity of the winter to come can be estimated by the abundance of acorns, this information can be found in the November and December data sheets. Very reliable too.
